Origin

The story of FIlicori Zecchini started in the city of Bologna, Italy in 1919, with Aldo Filicori, Luigi Zecchini and a small workshop in the centre of the city. It is here that the two founding partners discover the secret of perfect coffee: the roasting. They specialize the entire production of the blends themselves. From importing sacks of green beans to the rich hot coffee you are served at the bar, the brand soon became synonymous with coffee and is now recognized around the world as Filicori Zecchini.

Filicori Zecchini blends for Ho.Re.Ca channels (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes) are now distributed in over 30 different countries by a network of highly professional distributors.
It is believed that the best machines cannot substitute the expert touch of man; and therefore, the primary duty of the distributor is to ensure that the quality of the coffee is not compromised when it is served to the end customer.

Coco Veranda is no stranger in the Cafe industry, and has established itself among some of the most knowledgeable brands in the art of coffee. Having successfully nurtured employees who have won the National Barista Championships held at the Colombo Hotel Show in 2014, 2015 and 2016 consecutively, thereafter representing Sri Lanka in the FHA Regional Barista Challenge 2016 held in Singapore.
